Greetings Clinton Family,

It’s a GREAT day to be a Cardinal!

My name is Alex Johnson and I am thrilled to be the Activities Director at Clinton High School. During my first eight years in education I taught K-12 Physical Education, 4-8 Social Studies, and Physical Fitness & Conditioning. I served in these roles in Central New Mexico, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro, and in Southern New Mexico. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also coached football, cross country, basketball, and track. Prior to joining the Cardinal family in 2021, I was serving the Socorro Consolidated Schools in Socorro, New Mexico as Activities Director and Dean of Students.

On a personal note, I am married to my college sweetheart, Kelsey. We have three children. Jacoby is 6 years old and attends Henry Elementary, Amador is four years old attends the Clinton Early Childhood Center. Finally, my daughter Gweneth Lou just turned two in April and will have the privilege of staying at home with mom.

I just wanted to say how excited we are to be a member of the Clinton Family. The Johnsons are ready to get to know all of you and we look forward to building a tradition of success surrounding my passion, culture-building.
